Separation of church and state is supposed to be a thing. Lawmakers praying inside the chamber isn't separate at all.

To me, the appeal of Fair phone has always been it's repairability. And I think that they view the repairable aspect as a big part of their eco impact, as they intend for people to own their Fairphone for much longer and repair pieces as they need to be buying a new device entirely every 2-4 years.

My friends and I have been playing this since the recent launch. It's a lot of fun! The map rotates daily so it's a fresh challenge for you to explore every day. I'd recommend starting on the easy "tenderfoot" mode to get a hang of things first.

Adding work into the shower would diminish it's idea generating powers.

The reason we are able to come up with good ideas in the shower is that our mind isn't otherwise occupied by doing anything else. We aren't on our phones, watching TV, having a conversation, or working. Our mind has no obligations and the act of cleaning yourself doesn't require much mental load. So our mind is free to drift and think freely about whatever it wants. We don't have many similar times of distraction-free brain freedom in our modern lives.

Add in a task like taking a meeting, and now you've removed that key no thoughts head empty feature of showers that leads to the brain blast.

Pummel Party is a great option too!

Where can I disable this within my Google account I use on Android?

I never played the Tales from Borderlands myself, but my wife did and she really enjoyed it. She said it added a lot to the story lore presented in BL2.

I did enjoy the Walking Dead telltale game along with the Wolf Among Us, though.

I've been a big Borderlands fan for 10+ years. I played through the first one multiple times and loved it. My wife and I bonded over BL1 when we first started dating.

Was super excited for BL2, and have played it many times throughout the years.

But the pre-sequel was a let down, and BL3 felt soulless and lacked the same spark as BL2.

Tiny Tina Wonderlands was great, and felt like a return to what made BL2 so fun.

All that to say, I don't have high hopes for BL4, nor will I be paying $80 for it. It just feels like they're coasting off the brand name at this point and trying to exploit longtime BL players like myself.

On foldables like the Samsung fold series, is the taskbar supported in this launcher?

I used Nova on standard slabs, but nova doesn't support foldables. And I haven't found a third party launcher that still allows me to use the (super useful) taskbar on the inner display.

If Octopi supports that, I'll switch today!

Citizen Sleeper and Citizen Sleeper 2 can both be played entirely with just a mouse. No keyboard inputs needed.

I tried a handful of the DIY ball vape options, and I still have (and use regularly) a HLT/Highlighter from RedEyeFlightControl.

While performance of ball vapes is definitely high, I just have found I don't really enjoy them all too much (with the HLT being the exception). I also think that the proliferation of ball vapes has made the vape industry feel dull and boring, as every ball vape design is almost exactly the same as every other one.

Compare that to the Herborizer, which really does its own thing design wise. You can tell that a lot of thought went into the Herborizer design both aesthetically and functionally. Does the Herborizer extract as fast as insert-desktop-ball-vape-here? No, definitely not. But I enjoy the process of using the Herborizer far more.

I'm using the Herborizer tonight, which is probably my favorite desktop vape that I own. I didn't get into the whole ball vape craze very much because the Herborizer is just such a pleasant experience and a heavy hitter in its own right. This is probably the vape that I use the most often; I love the design, the vapor signature, and the overall experience of using it.

Hey all, hoping some more experienced Proton users might be able to help me out here.

Earlier this week I began the process of switching from Gmail to Proton. I imported the last few months of Gmail messages, set Gmail to forward to Proton for the interim before I can get all my other accounts switched away from that Gmail, and installed the Android proton mail app.

I'm having the following issues:

  • Proton mail, regardless of if I'm in browser or mobile app, keeps reappearing emails that I delete or mark as spam. I'll delete them, then check my inbox again later and there they are again, unread in my inbox. It'll take 6 or 7 attempts sometimes before an email actually stays deleted.

-the Android app is sucking crazy amounts of battery. It's not like I receive an insane amount of daily messages, but yesterday Proton mail sucked 40% of my battery. That's from mostly idle use and deleting a handful of emails. That's it. It seems to be pulling an insane amount of juice in the background.

Anyone know how I can resolve these problems? I want to use proton for their focus on privacy and encryption, but both these issues are deal breakers for me if I can't resolve them.

Thanks in advance!

This is probably the rarest vape I own, a Gen 2 black limba JDV.

From posts in their discord, it looks like REFC will be bringing back the JDV soon with some improvements!

I've got some guava gelato queued up & ready to go.

Been using the Vapbong the last few days but I think tonight I'll break out the Herborizer.

What's on deck tonight frients?

One of my more recent acquisitions and an absolute powerhouse, the BAKx!

This was dreamed up by choo at Lamart, and despite its simple design, it's a very strong performer.

The first "good" portable I purchased. Prior to this, I was using a Pax 2, and found myself dissatisfied. I began looking into alternatives, and fell hard down the rabbit hole of artisan vapes. Snagged this merbau P80 in the next Lamart drop, and it's been a steady part of the stable ever since! One of, if not my most used portables.

This one has been with me for a good while, the first desktop I ever purchased. I'd been interested in a log for a little while and wanted to add a desktop to my arsenal.

Ed posted that he had a few 2019's left as he was transitioning to the 2020 shape, and this was one of them. I knew I wanted it immediately and the discount he offered to clear out his shelves didn't hurt either!

This is one that I still use frequently, and often catch myself just staring at how beautiful the burl is, and the hint of live edge.

I was fortunate to get pulled in the drawing for this unit a couple years ago, and received it last summer! I've been on the nomad list for a while, and had been really wanting to check out something from Dan. The Toad is a minimal, beautiful design that really shines in the finer details. All the wood is sanded to where it's incredibly smooth to the touch, even the feeling of sliding the stem into the body feels satisfying, and I absolutely love the lichen button.
