Doesn’t the old pin remain active for 72hrs now?
Just go and buy your son a new sim… get a new phone number. It’ll be a bit of a hassle changing everything but it will instantly solve the problem. Pretty sure most carriers even let you change your phone number without changing the sim too.
Samsung and Google flagships took my headphone jack away. And after 2 years android phones start to have issues with bugs.
Samsung s9+ was my last android... Had been android my whole life. Traded it for a iPhone 12 pro. Just upgraded to iPhone 15 pro max.. never see myself going back to android.
