That's a fair criticism.

Their propaganda has actually generally sucked pretty bad this war. They had the opportunity to make the US and Israel (and particularly Trump and Bebe) into a global pariah. They could have started showing videos of schools and other graphic terrible images of people the US has murdered and things they have destroyed. They could have turned the whole world against the US and Israel, just like Biden and Zelinski were able to turn the would world against Russia.

But instead they dug in, started bombing everyone else around them, and made everyone remember why they are hated in the first place.

There are several problems with the charlatans.

  1. if you haven't taken a science class since high school, then their advice often right. I'm amazed at how quickly the medical pseudo-science that flipped politically in my life time. I was raised in a deep red conservative Christian community and I don't remember anti-vaccines ever being a thing for my community (we definitely had our issues, just not that one). The medical pseudo-science thing back then was firmly in the far left liberal sphere. The anti-vaxx movement was a hippy-liberal thing. (I'm not really sure when that flipped.)

  2. The medical industry -including academia- is very much at fault in burning trust. There are many instances of the medical industry intentionally withholding treatments because a different treatment made them more money. Or doctors over prescribing in order to charge insurance companies more money.

  3. A lot of what RFK jr says. Starts off good. He's all like "Hey, we medicate too much. We should all focus on eating healthier and exercising. That's what the government should encourage." And even I'm like, "Yeah, okay. I agree." Then he goes on to say "And that why you should shove a bowling ball up your butt." That's when he loses me.

I'm an environmental engineer and environmental scientist and I specialize in industrial hazmat waste issues, but I recognize even I'm a bit out of my professional lane on this.

But if you were to identify specific "toxins" that you are interested in "cleansing" there are often methods to do that. But first, I would recommend talking to a health professional. And those cleanses are going to vary significantly based on the toxin of interest.

But your best general "cleanse" is to eat more green leafy vegetables and exercise regularly. And feel free to drink a 4oz glass of milk a couple times a week.

When did progressives get all "Got mine first!"

I mean the selfish carelessness of progressives today is really astonishing.

If your job sucks so bad because you have to make the most minor accommodations for your co-workers families, then just quit your job. Like, you have no responsibilities and nothing holding you back. What's your problem?

Well, no. I don't really watch his press conferences.

Do you know what she was arrested for?

Protesting on the wrong place, I imagine?

First of all, no they don't. There is a very small minority of MAGAs that are real preppers. (I actually have some respect for those people.)

The rest are just soulless suburban pawns that hide their racism in faux-Christianity or faux-libertarianism. The cat majority of them are up to their eyes in debt.

Those people aren't the people that need to be reminded.

My take: If we can't defund ICE until we take back one of the houses of congress, then the next best thing is to give them pointless security theater jobs.

Shoving as many hired ICE agents into Airport lines is a good thing for America right now.

I'm constantly amazed that scouts isn't more popular with families. I'm a huge supporter of the whole worldwide program (particularly Scouting America and the Girl Scouts in the US).

Yes, let's all acknowledge that there were past abuses that the Boy Scouts ignored and covered up. But, primarily due to the lawsuits associated with those abuses, Scouting America has instituted a lot of really strong child protection policies that arguably make it the safest youth program anywhere.

It's a really great, comparatively cheap, program that offers amazing opportunities to kids and families.

If you find yourself having trouble making friends as an adult, I really recommend looking into it.
