What do you mean the people with power to do something won’t? Last I heard, the billion class are buying a bunch of fancy refurbished underground ~~r~~decommissioned nuclear silos. They want a safe place to weather the coming societal collapse in comfort. Apparently, these fancy silos come with a huge security force that would never turn on the monied people locked away underground.

Suing the doctors for pushing a false narrative is jarring enough, but they’re trying to get the patient’s names used for all studies. What a fun precedent they’re trying to set!!! I cannot foresee in long lasting issues coming from this if they win.

The only bad experience I’ve had on kbin are the updates messing with my logins.

But in a serious note, the three user I’ve gone to report have already been kicked off by the time I’ve tried reporting them to @ernest. For that, I’m thankful. But that is on the .social. Also, I’ve not been super active since middle of the week due to a food poisoning situation. So, maybe I missed a bunch of recent activity.

He is not a real candidate. He is a tool of the alt-right to act as a “democratic” presidential candidate to sow mistrust. He is literally funded by the people who fund various campaigns to screw with the American people and advance fascism.

The fediverse (a portmanteau of "federation" and "universe") is an ensemble of federated (i.e. interconnected) servers that are used for web publishing (i.e. social networking, microblogging, blogging, or websites) and file hosting, which, while independently hosted, can communicate with each other.

Also, here is a good place to check out.

But the term you might be looking for is federated. Each platform has its own lexicon for what it stands for and how to interact. Is pictures, videos, content aggregation, microblogging, blogging, etc. there are more than 1200 and each has its own internal language and how users refer to it. No different than facebook, Twitter, instagram, blogger, blogspot, MySpace, …, etc. But, they all run on activitypub, which is an agreed upon format for things. The various forms are new and developing, so every form of social interaction is different in how they refer to themselves.

Oh NO!! Anyway, I hope we can save several landmark venues where amazing bands play instead of tearing them down for a new mega structure.
