That's a gorgeous demitasse! And the shot looks great, too. What are you brewing?

There was a timezone issue with their code. Mastodon, in the mastodon way, found a way to contact the site owner and they got everything fixed. People can be great, when given the chance.

It's full of electrolytes. Plants need electrolytes.

Amazing movie!

Not to understand, no. But to fight it in a legal court, you need data and fact.

Haha yes, I know. I was kidding. Sorry.

elementary os. Installed it, and noped right out of there the same day. On paper, it should be great. Maybe the execution was flawless for macfans, but it was not for me. I do appreciate how they tried to make an easy transitional Linux for macfans, though, and I do not regret the donation because of that fact.

Like SD cards suddenly being read only, then, as mysteriously as it started, they're read/write again (sometimes while mid-operation)? Yeah. I have that.

Right. Like they deliberately make good things into shit. I wish there was a good term for this phenomenon.

It's almost like privatizing public services is, somehow, a bad idea. But, but, but... capitalism....

E: jokes aside. The findings in these studies, while obvious to some (possibly most) people, are extremely important. Feelings without supporting data, are just opinions. Feeling with supporting data, are facts. Because of this study, we now have facts to fight against further privatization of public services.

I wouldn't say that it migrated. I would say engagement increased on Lemmy and, with it, so did the toxic behavior. There are a lot more bitch fights on here now, but that comes with the territory of more posts. Reddit did seem to encourage this type of behavior, though. While there are some Lemmy instances that do seem to encourage toxicity (I have a couple in mind), the majority seem to be affected by it without actively encouraging it. Toxic behavior is, generally, human nature, because humans are toxic creatures. Most people, however, don't default to toxicity; they need to be encouraged into it.

I've broken several of them, and they kept their magnetism. Neodymium magnets are like friggin glass in their fragility, though.

I have neodymium magnets from another project. I should do that. They're about 2cm in diameter, but I can probably cut them to size.
