Are the books as good as the show? Is there any value add in reading the books, after I've watched and fell in love with the show?

Edit: thank you, everyone! The overwhelming positive feedback on the books has me convinced. They are on my reading queue!

Well, that was horrifying.

Maybe for some, sure. But I don't want to assume OP is one of those, and suggest this tactic. It might be a great way to deal with ADHD, I'm not arguing one way or the other, since it seems to work for you and that's absolutely amazing. However, it could land some people in a lot of hurt.

The camera hardware is just ok. The benefits come from the built-in automatic image manipulation / improvement in the Pixel camera app. Download a generic camera app (like Open Camera or SimpleCamera before the takeover) and see the difference in pictures compared to the Pixel Camera (which, by the way, you can download from Aurora).

There's some merit in that. But I wouldn't really recommend always allowing it. Modern life requires doing some things that ADHD tries to prevent (like finishing that super important project or whatever), but if we give in to it, we can feel some repercussion (like losing our jobs).

I disagree. Microsoft is learning its lesson. It's just that the vast majority of people are teaching Microsoft that its actions are perfectly acceptable, or, at the very least, not totally unacceptable... so it continues.

The real reason for his dislike of sand. Good read, but it CONTAINS SPOILERS.

From the linked wiki:

According to some former members of Scientology, conditions within Gold Base are harsh, with staff members receiving sporadic paychecks of $50 at most, working seven days a week, and being subjected to punishments for failing to meet work quotas.[2] Media reports have stated that around 100 people a year try to escape from the base but most are soon retrieved by "pursuit teams". Despite many accounts of mistreatment from ex-members, law enforcement investigations and lawsuits against Scientology have been thwarted by the First Amendment's guarantee of religious freedom and the church's ability to rely on "ministerial exemptions" in employment law. Scientology denies any mistreatment and calls the base "the ideal setting for professional and spiritual growth".

Which ones? The ones confirmed dead, the ones who disappeared, or the ones in a hole of a federal prison? Oh, I see...
