Rant (but suggestions welcome): I traded in an iPhone which Apple marked down to £0. I accidentally hit Accept and now Apple can’t undo it, even 1 minute after the mistake. in c/apple@hardware.watch

Also, IANAL, but if you really didn’t receive anything I would mention that this can’t be considered a valid contract under English law due to lack of “consideration” (benefit for you). Maybe that might scare someone into getting something done.

Get out of Steve Job’s hole. Can you provide any logical reason why someone would accept a $0 trade in?

I wouldn’t be surprised if OP could challenge this based on the fact that no consideration was given which means it’s not a valid contract.

Why would anyone EVER accept a $0 trade in? It shouldn’t even be an option.
