Nice to see you too :) Yeh it can be tough, small adjustments can make big differences and trying to be consistent is the key :)

Competed in another marathon axe throwing tournament on Sunday. The level of competition was crazy, 12 out of 19 people hitting the max score throughout the day, i hit it 6 times, the top guy hit it 12 times. Finished the round robin in 3rd and then after an incredibly tough finals came home with 3rd place. Everything is really coming together, i have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the last 3 major comps ive entered and its all great practice for Sydney in September :)

What band do you have on it? When i got my fitbit i had lots of similar issues from the band it came with. I bought myself a leather band to replace it with and its been fine since

Take those calorie burn things with a grain of salt, they are way over simplified and dont really mean much. You can calculate your base metabolical rate with online calculators which take your exercise etc into account and that will give you a rough calorie amount that you can aim for each day for maintenance. Then you just need to adjust down or up a few 100 calories depending on if you want to gain or lose weight. Thats obviously a simple way to look at things but it will be significantly more accurate than a calorie burn function on a pedometer

I recently had to discover myself that a medication i was on has been linked to changes in how your body processes glucose and produces insulin and has been linked to type 2 diabetes. I had a couple of abnormal blood glucose readings in tests that i requested for general health tracking and my doctor was worried enough to send me for further diabetes testing. I found the medication link, weaned myself off and returned my blood glucose to normal levels with no thanks to doc!!

Dad's birthday tomorrow and i hadn't thought of gift ideas....... So i may have just ordered a couple hundred dollars worth of Scottish meats and treats to be delivered. Min order was $150 for free delivery so i had to order some for him and some for me :P

Youd be surprised how many steps you can still get through doing an activity like that

From what i read you make then bottle straight away and it is meant to be low alcohol, if you left it for a month you would have to be alot more careful regarding sugar quantity otherwise you would end up with higher abv and risk of bottle bombs. I dont have any bottles at the moment because none of our batches are ready to bottle yet, maybe ill grab a few extra when i buy some and ill give it a go for you :)

It looks easy enough, its a pretty quick process by the looks of it. Just mix some ingredients, add yeast, leave for a day and then bottle, consume in about a week
