Against.

Facade of privacy is worse. Opting out won't do anything, and it might give people false sense of privacy. Let everyone know their votes are public. In my head, voting on lemmy is equivalent of saying "aye" in real life, that is, you are assenting to something publicly.

I in fact consider this to be a feature, it's helpful in detecting votes manipulation.

Democratic strategists were reportedly looking for new ways to appeal to the essential pedophile voting bloc to avoid a disastrous midterm election.

Blackberry Priv form factor:

The keypad doubled kinda like a touch pad as well. I could use keyboard shortcuts, typed way faster tha touch. All that without compramising screen space.

With Devnagiri, there is a one-to-many mapping of script to spoken languages, Hindi being only one of them.

The graphic should have just listed scripts instead of spoken languages, since it is really about scripts

Ironically, I bought a financial advice book from (what I found out midway through to be) a British "finfluencer". It was bad. It came in a glossy and attractive packaging, but I would certainly not call it a priceless treasure.

As someone who was basically an indentured labourer (not in US), this is 100% true.

But at the same time, it was my opportunity to get out of my country. I traded a couple of years of light slavery in exchange for a potentially higher level of freedom later.

I got lucky, though, and I managed to get a good job later. Not everyone would be lucky. Some of my friends are still working in the company that brought me in (Infosys).
