I’ve never once taken a picture of her because (1) I’m in a relationship

1 - what does that have to do with anything? 2 - friendships are relationships

and (2) that’s creepy AF.

Depends on the picture

I’m a long time android user so this freaked me out a bit.

Do you not use Google for contacts? Don’t you see people’s Google profile picture in your contacts? I do.

I got my first one in 2008 when there weren’t any comparable devices. It does what I need so I’ve never had a reason to get something different.

I’d like to remove both the camera and flashlight icons, and change the swipe gesture from opening the camera to opening App Library.

I’m not sure about “believe in’. They are real. I will just never own one. For me that’s the watch because I don’t wear a watch.

I also have no plans to strap a giant pair of goggles to my head.

That remote was so bad I stopped using my AppleTV and switched to Chromecast. I didn't switch back to AppleTV until Apple put a remote in the iPhone control center.

There were no Samsung Galaxy or Pixel phones when I got my first iPhone. I knew someone with a BlackBerry.

Sorry, but I repeat that no one in Italy uses it.

That seems very unlikely. There are 60 million people in Italy.

Everyone uses Imessage voice messages or, even worse, Whatsapp.

I find it hard to believe that a majority or even a minority of adults are communicating this way.

With voice messages, why does Apple continue to keep that feature so at the forefront?

Voice messages as in the iMessage feature? I have never used that and probably never will. I'd call you if I wanted to talk to you.

Voicemail as in the Phone feature is obviously incredibly important to them since Live Voicemail was one of the major features of iOS 17.

I just went from 16.1 to 17 a couple weeks ago. You don’t have to update if you do t want to. Turn off auto updates.

I still have an AppleTV third generation from 2012 or whenever it was that is still connected to a tv and has never been updated.

Technology can not replace parenting. I used to cut off cell access to my kid's phone after a certain time through an app from my cell provider (AT&T). I told them in advance that this was going to happen so they knew it was me and there was still a response to deal with.

I set 2 alarms 15 minutes apart with snooze disabled on the first one. I don’t like the standard 9 minute snooze.

I have an automation that starts playing an Apple Music playlist when I turn off my the 2nd alarm and also starts repeating the text “wake up, it’s [current time] on [current day]”.

I’ve seen other pictures with these same marks. That’s the area where the 5G antenna would be on a US version.
