Cause of the perspective I thought this was the front edge and not the side so I thought you put a hole in your MacBook 💀

I completely agree, I also miss having a wider variety of symbols on my keyboard and having the number row always display. Text selection is also super weird and inconsistent on iOS. I still choose not to use gboard though cause it looks out of place

It deterred me, I was going to buy an M2 MacBook Air directly from Apple but the insane cost to upgrade the SSD and RAM led me to buy a used MacBook Pro M1 instead. Even though I still bought a MacBook, none of the money went to them. Spending over 1k on any computer with 8gb of non upgradable memory is ridiculous
