If you don't want to/can't upload to your host instance like Piefed allows, here are some (I'd love to hear about others) external suggestions:
𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁𝘀:
32MB file size limit: https://postimages.org/
64MB file size limit: https://freeimage.host/
𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀:
You can of course use stuff like Youtube, Peertube, Vimeo, etc.
Stuff you don't need an account for:
MP4 and MOV file size limit 100MB: https://vidplay.io/
20MB limit WEBM:
𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀:
1 - Follow host instance rules:
1b - Instance rules keep it PG-13 keep in mind.
2 - Video length... we'll follow the spirit of max shorts lengths for now of Youtube Shorts/Tiktok, stuff like that. But that means 60 seconds up to 10 minutes, so idk. I'll leave it up to community judgement until/unless I get a bunch of feedback on this. I think 3-5 max is more appropriate myself, but this rule is soft for now.

Slow Librarianship is a practice that evolved in response to academic hustle culture but applies to all areas of library work. Julia Glassman coined the term in 2017, and Meredith Farkas, inspired by Julia’s work, has been speaking and writing on the topic since. The term grew at the same time as other social movements, largely in the context of the pandemic. The core idea of valuing quality over quantity is timeless and transcends states of emergency. These values are echoed in societal movements for a better mental health response in workplace culture and within libraries specifically push back against classist notions of service and emotionally- and economically-damaging vocational awe.
