This sounds great. Protestors will come. It'll cement the link between Netanyahu and anyone who feels like sticking up for him in public, damaging that person's reputation. Presumably he will take no questions, but he won't be able to avoid the obvious questions that will arise, and the news coverage.
Let's get him on the first plane and have members of the house GOP meet him at the airport. Sounds great.
It would be very hard for anyone to deny who's in lock step with bibi's government. Don't know that the US media won't sucker punch us with a victim story though.
If I had more faith in the media, I would say that their "we have to cover both sides of every issue" pathology would work in our favor on this issue
However, I believe that there would magically be no need to cover both sides of every issue in this case, because it was always just a smokescreen to justify airing some bullshit that they can't justify in any other way. So depending on the media you might be right yes.
All they have is theatre. They are more ideologically and morally bankrupt than No Labels.
So, does the "G" in "GOP" stand for GeNoCiDe now, or are we only doing that with Joe?
Now if only we could arrest him for violating international law while he was here…

Guys, I’m starting to wonder if the GQP house are just a bunch of goddamned morons.

It can be two things.
Bibi is obviously evil, but also a moron if he does this. Electorally, if Bibi wants Trump back in the Whitehouse, one the better strategies to do that is keep democrats divided on Isreal. In other words, Bibi hugging Biden drives progressives away from Biden, hurts enthusiasm, reduces Dem turnout, all good things for Trump. Bibi coming to speak to the Republican conference (he is already meeting with Republican senators today virtually) only serves to make support for Isreal more partisan by pissing off Dems and aligning them against Isreal. Not to mention pissing off Biden who he needs.
I guess the strategy is to scare Biden and Dems into supporting Isreal more to stave off attacks from Republicans who would be viewed as more supportive of Isreal by voters? Sounds like a dumb move, public opinion is turning against Isreal, and an invasion of Rafaku isn't going to make Isreal any more sympathetic to the average non racist and non biblical prophecy believing voter. Again, Republicans attacking Biden for not supporting genocide enough only serves to shore up Bidens base, and independent looking at the chaos and suffering in Gaza aren't going to ding Biden for not being Bibi's bitch.
Would be a dumb move I reckon.
