I am increasingly feeling like my "is Hexbear dying" post was both the worst and the best post I've ever made. The amount of discourse that has come from it has been astounding. I'm both incredibly sorry I posted it and also . Inside of me are two wolves. I hope they eat each other and create a superwolf. A sigmalpha wolph.
Anyway was totally an un-labelled bit idea folks I promise I swear it was just a bit stop bullying me (I'm fine really just jokes).
Anyway anyway I think it's good for site culture honestly to have multiple sub-cultural themes. If you don't log in for a few days and come back and there's some new joke or meta going on, I think that's a good thing basically. If things are always the same, they'll get stale, and folks will leave. Or if there's only like one meta culture, if someone doesn't feel like that meta culture speaks to them, then they won't stick around. Multiple sub cultural themes expand the reach more broadly, which means more users, which means more ideas and more posts and more comrades. I think it's neat. It would be cool if Hexbear was ultimately THE place online for all comrades of all kinds and every comrade feels welcome and accepted and cool and safe. That would be awesome. I think we can all learn a lot from each other that way and all become better comrades through that sort of thing. I dunno if this makes sense but that's me.
