Ok. Real talk.

If Trump wins and isnt swiftly JFK'd, then JFK wasn't an inside job.

[–] Cort@lemmy.world 10 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Well, JFK was a Democrat sticking up for minorities. And trump is, checks notes not

[–] foggy@lemmy.world -5 points 2 years ago (1 children)

That is immaterial to my comment.

How? The 3 letter agencies are deeply conservative.

Now that Trump is hiring Manafort, it’s time for the government to declassify the Senate Intel report on Russian election interference in 2016. Manafort gave polling data to Russian intelligence in exchange for Ukraine. That’s kind of a big deal.

He is supposed to be in prison still, except for the fact that the US Justice Department is a two-tiered complete joke tailored to never punish the wealthy.

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort — who was serving a 7½-year sentence on charges brought by special counsel Robert Mueller — was released to home confinement Wednesday due to concerns about the spread of the coronavirus in federal prisons, a lawyer said.

Manafort’s release quickly stirred criticism and complaints of political favoritism because he did not appear to have met the latest guidelines issued by the federal Bureau of Prisons about which inmates were eligible for placement on home confinement.

Under guidelines issued last month, federal authorities said they were approving home confinement for some prisoners who had served at least half of their sentences or at least a quarter of their sentences if they have less than 18 months left to serve. Manafort, 71, had served about 23 months of his sentence, leaving him well short of the halfway mark and with about 4½ years to serve before his scheduled release date in November 2024, as shown on the bureau website

Trump nominates Richard Nixon to head the FEC.

Trump nominates Bernie Madoff as SEC chair.

Oh, and let's get Elizabeth Holmes in a head position in the CDC.

[–] gravitas_deficiency@sh.itjust.works 9 points 2 years ago (2 children)

And Richard Sackler for Secretary of Health and Human Services

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 6 points 2 years ago

Oh, and we can stuff the leadership with his nepobaby family members. We definitely live in the best timeline!

[–] ohlaph@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

And someone else, too.

[–] grue@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

In other words, exactly the same kind of sabotage he did in his first term.

I always assumed they revived his head in a jar closer to 900 years from now, but I suppose it could have started by now.

[–] Theprogressivist@lemmy.world 27 points 2 years ago (2 children)

So, a kompromat is considering adding another kompromat to his campaign. Im shocked, I tell you. Shocked!

[–] dudinax@programming.dev 5 points 2 years ago

Trump may be a kompromat, but Manafort is employed by them.

[–] grue@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

You don't need kompromat to gain the loyalty of a fanboi and fascist true believer.

Putin may have kompromat on Trump, but he sure as Hell doesn't need it.

Sometimes I feel like this chuckle fuck goes out of his way to find to find the shittiest people to work for him.

[–] unphazed@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

His followers salivate every time he does something shitty. I swear to god its like they are fucking masochists. Can't wait for MAGA rallies to start chanting "Hoya" and "Daddy"
