On the one hand, yeah and if you're the kinda hardcore souls masochist who loves a bullshit challenge, this is why you typically want to play these games early. On the other hand, Lies of P was especially tortorous at later parts of the game. I myself dropped the game, and I know many others who love soulslikes who just couldn't stick with it as bosses became walls of HP.
People will stroke their e-peen over this just like I stroked mine over beating pre-nerf Radahn in Elden Ring on day one, and people will also agree in like 4 years time that the initial release had problems and needed this patch to fix them.
