Title. Love seeing what is removed and seeing how mods behave on other instances. Makes it super easy to gauge the culture either to join commenting or staying far away.

when I first looked at the modlog it reaffirmed why I like kbin because it was all lemmy/beehaw removing stuff. I looked again and sure enough same thing. kinda amusing.

I wish the modlog had more options to filter through it. like per magazine, or per instance, or see what mod actions were taken on my own posts/comments.

What other modlog do you look at that isn't per magazine?

https://kbin.social/modlog

it just shows every mod action across the fediverse.

On the magazine info bar on the right side, there's a link to a modlog. That'll show only that magazine/community's modlog.

yeah I stumbled into that just a little while ago. very useful. the same seems to work for domains. I just wish there was a way to see mod actions taken against me now lol.

Would moderators be able to append a reason for the mod action, and also allow picking a reason from a list of prepared reasons?

Yea, would like to see that, it'd help for both mods and users; mods to justify their actions, and users to see if it's a reasonable action. Without context it's hard to tell what's going on sometimes.
