I made some polenta not too long ago and I was surprised the recipe specifically called for olive oil. Worked out, anyhow.

I don't want to relitigate the struggle session (I actually do) but olive oil is fine for frying

What's that in normal temperatures? Like 150°C?

the deep fryers at work only heat the oil to 350 tho
