I'm one of those weird people that actually really enjoyed a new nightmare and the 2008 travesty.
Oh man the 2008 game, Alone in the Dark Inferno, is so cute :3 It's an actual disaster, made of jank with laughable writing, but it's so excited about its own cool technology and weird ideas that I find it impossible to hate. Swinging around physics objects that are on fire, the dynamic wounds on your goofy character, the lighting shenanigans, the crafting puzzle shit, it's so overstuffed.
This new thing might be an okay Resi 2 Remake clone, but beware the mark of Atari SA
