Speaking in an interview with Bloomberg, Pocketpair boss Takuro Mizobe confirmed Palworld cost less than ¥1 billion ($6.7 million) to make, and has made tens of billions of yen in profit. For context, ¥10 billion is around $67.2 million.

That's too simple and fair. We should do some extravagant bullshit in an effort to expand and simply pray lightning strikes 3 or 4 more times for our next Beta releases

Basically means they have no idea how to manage a company larger than the number of people they can directly know and interact with on any given day. Not too surprising for a runaway success.

Seeing as how this is just an early access version, I would hope they’re using the windfall to ensure every stretch goal gets added to the game.
