I don't even remember making my character. I think it was pre made for me and I was dropped straight in without any guide.

The GUI is payed dlc. By having a lot of money, you get a surgeon to install the new eye.
Gold is the top tier, for unicorn vomit you need to do new game + after unlocking gold and finding the secret omega tier meme.
