Tbh I'm not completely sold on Pereira at LHW after his last fight.

He looked pretty hittable.

On the one hand Jan gets most people because of his weird style. On the other hand... he was so damn gassed and slow and still managed to connect a lot in the third round. And I guess the weirdness is similar for Jiri, so the hittability might very much apply there as well.

He seemed hesitant even though not a lot was coming his way the second half of the fight.

I would disagree. Jan attempted and landed more strikes in the third round than the first two according to eye test and UFCStats. And I think that combined with the takedown threat made him hesitant.

Yeah, he didn't really want to commit to his punches / attacks.

He could have exploited Jan gassing a lot more the way it looked
