how come that they can be so cheap and better to. seems like a contradiction.

Yep, really bad time for US manufacturers to be backing off from the new technology …. “No one is buying because our stuff is too expensive or buggy: let’s let Chinese manufacturers take all that potential market share so our immediate profits aren’t impacted”
