The common trope of fireballs in fighting games has it's DNA in the kamehameha
street fighter is doing bruce lee, but it's also just doing the tenkaichi budokai! i don't think that game exists in a recognizable state without dragon ball, and therefore the entire genre doesn't!
and pokemon is never going to exist without dragon quest v, and without dragon quest more broadly

or like, all the slightly less direct connections, like how modern marvel movies definitely use beams in ways inspired by dbz, or how every action cartoon in america since 2005 has been influenced by it, or literally every generic fantasy isekai light novel anime is just doing dragon quest
