Toriyama will always be near and dear to my heart. His work isn’t the most sophisticated, but it had a charm to it that only he could ever manage to create, and that resonated with millions across the globe.

Yeah I'm rereading Dragonball right now and it's just solid fun. No underlying message or cynical take on humanity, just silly fun.
