I agree with Rentlar, very nicely done. It's always fun to "remaster" an older piece and do it justice.
Ah, the TNG end credits font. Nice text effect, is that a bevel or a 3d style effect?
Used Paint 3D to add the effect. I don't have PS and have no idea what other resources are worthwhile. Most of my work is on mobile, but what I use there can't add new fonts. Only been at it a little less than a year, but damned if it isn't fun.
Check out Paint.NET. It is free and has some of the basic features of Photoshop.

On my laptop, I've had much success using Photopea for the past few months. It's pretty good for a browser-based image editor, it takes care of basic image editing pretty well. One of the things I like is how it manages fonts; it doesn't have any Trek fonts pre-loaded, but if you load one from your computer, it'll load in Photopea's font selection for you whenever you load the site in the browser. Just as long as you don't move the file, that is. There's also a "Local Fonts" option where I guess you can use whatever fonts you have installed on your computer, but the feature appears to be disabled in Firefox. Oh, and I have a dropshadow style and an outline image effect style that also load (ready to apply to an image) along with several Trek fonts. It's nice having them available.
Very good to know. As far as my reaction time: simple tools, working at a desk, and seasoned search/reference skills help a lot.

That shuttle looks like such a cheap prop lol. But it has gullwing doors tho.
Nothing but the best from Paramount. Time, HD+ visualization, and improved resources have us looking back at 90's props like they were from the 50's.

Oh yeah, I think you're right. It looks like the actor was holding the glove part which was attached to the hose arm, then dropped the glove when it was "deactivated."
A civilization isn't truly advanced until it can produce a fully autonomous robot that just looks like it's a person in a costume.
