Slimy AF, making it sound like the problem here is those pesky workers and their “standard of living” instead of the owners being greedy/incompetent.
We raised our prices 10% across the board but are obfuscating that fact by hiding the price increase from the menu.
Next, ask a worker off-hours if they're being paid enough
Clearly not, as the greedy consumers refuse to buy several bags of potato chips so the struggling mom and pop small business (Subway) can afford to pay their hourly wages and provide benefits.
i just saw a video that some group with "capital" in the name owns Subway, Dunkin, Baskin Robbins and shitload of other shit. So yea, private equity groups ruining more shit like usual. (though Subway was already ruined years ago)
This shit should be illegal. Change the sticker price.
