All Chinese propaganda ever seems to do is make us look more and more fucking badass.

Pooh bear is ultimately a good bear doing his best for those he cares about

The same cannot be said of China's President unless we reduce the "who he cares about" to himself. But that's not fair to Pooh.

You show me one other country that has a burger that will gouge your fucking eyes out, I'll wait.

[–] underisk@lemmy.ml 12 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Is eye-gouging a desirable trait for a burger?

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

In my opinion, it actually isn't!

I bet you’re fun at cookouts!

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

I don't go to those. Too many people.

[–] MegaUltraChicken@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Depends who you give the burger to.

That's the guy that keeps trying to steal Ronald McDonald's Happy Meal, right?

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

Nah, that's Donald Trump

No Malarkey is no longer a good campaign slogan. I propose Maximum Malarkey.

[–] Kidplayer_666@lemm.ee 6 points 2 years ago

Make Malarkey great again

No Malarkey is no longer a good campaign slogan.

It never was. A geriatric candidate using a word that fell out of common use at least 70 years ago in his slogan winning an election was only possible because of how hated Trump was. Even though people still rightly hate Trump, it won't work again.

What did Biden do to you? This is a safe place.

Where are the Uygurs?

[–] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 6 points 2 years ago

Different propaganda techniques. China prefers to depict themselves as righteous underdogs, while it's harder to do that as an American, so the propaganda is focused on seeming even more untouchable at the hands of a weak enemy.
