Believe it or not climate has had more to do with the snow crabs. Rising ocean temperatures are causing snow crabs to run to smaller pockets of cold water. Then their high metabolism forces them to eat each other when food is scarce.

Funny, but for real, we didn't fish them out. They were there one year, and gone the next. Thoughts are they migrated somewhere deeper due to changing water temperatures.
