I'm cautiously optimistic about this, but will wait for multiple reviews. I'll also do my usual thing of waiting 6 months to a year for it to go on sale and for all the major issues to get patched. My backlog's barely getting smaller, and there are always games from last year or two years ago that are just going on sale now with the patches containing the fixes and stuff that should've been there at launch.
I just hope that BG3 isn't TOO big to handle. If it's big and good, that's great. If it's big and uneven, that's not so great. I hope it is good though, because I just don't have the time and inclination to get together with people to try and play tabletop DnD anymore. Even online, it can still be a surprising hassle.
