Screenshot of whatsapp messages

Not clear if the leak is the real deal or some photoshop work...

[–] Coelacanth@feddit.nu 11 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Photoshop? Isn't this the type of stuff an AI can spit out in 3 minutes?

[–] DavidGA@lemmy.world 13 points 1 year ago

Photoshop has an AI tool now, so at least we can still keep calling them “photoshops”.

[–] sboulema@programming.dev 7 points 1 year ago

Yes there are a lot of web apps that generate whatsapp conversation, so fairly easy to do

[–] BURN@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

It looks like it could be photoshop, or even maybe a catfish? Nothing can be said for certain, and I’m sure every F1 journalist is pouring over it trying to validate the existance

[–] coffeebiscuit@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

And where is the “he should lose his job” evidence?

[–] Jozav@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Weird: file 6 is JPG screenshot. Other screenshots are PNG. Phone changed in between? Or faked?

[–] Darthjaffacake@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Good spot but it looks like the jpg is a camera photo whereas the pngs are screenshots, so maybe the phone just uses different formats for each. (Although I'd expect the opposite normally)

[–] Jozav@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Nah. I have now seen the full images. It is definitely a different phone with a different OS. She probably has two phones, one private, one company. Not unusual.

File-6 is a screenshot and it’s jpg

Guess things are about to get started in the court of public opinion

[–] kbal@fedia.io 32 points 1 year ago

I rule this easily-faked collection of whatsapp screenshots from an anonymous source admissible as evidence on the grounds that if you were going to fake it, you'd probably make them spicier than that.

Oof

Like for real, I have no idea who has the right position in the relevant actions themselves.

But it's obvious that outside of those allegations, there is a power struggle going on within this company.

Don't think the pics are fake at least, he's worn that same polo before

[–] Rapidcreek@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago (4 children)

This stuff never goes away. Funny thing is that obviously RBR thinks it does.

[–] Ptsf@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

Unfortunately for potential victims this type of evidence is becoming less and less meaningful as generation becomes trivial.

[–] Microw@lemm.ee 5 points 1 year ago

Going from the rumours, RBR doesnt think that. RB's majority owners (the ones with the guy who killed someone and didnt face the consequences) do.

[–] fidodo@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yeah, I think their complete lack of transparency is back firing. Do we even know what the accusations are?

[–] WhiteHawk@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

The point was that we shouldn't, because the public has a tendency to jump to conclusions and condemn people without even seeing the evidence

[–] JJROKCZ@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It doesn’t matter because the Thai owners of Red Bull do not care about this whole controversy so as long as Horner stays on their good side he’s good

[–] SatouKazuma@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

And lawsuit in 3...2...1...?
