Fuck every gig-economy tech bro cash grab. Uber, airbnb, doordash, every single fucking one has been a blight in its respective market devoid of worker protections.

When I say to my friends/colleagues that I never used a uber/lyft or airbnb/vrbo or ubereats/doordash/whatever, they look at me as if I was an alien...

I just take taxi, go to hotels (using the owner site, never a 3rd party), and do groceries and cook at home.

Am I so out of touch or young people are wrong? :)

Is it too much to ask for both? :D

You might be distancing yourself from the exploitation, but I guarantee you could still find it if you looked.
