The headline is pure trash but the article is interesting. Search up the firm's CEO, and search up the firm itself. Ties to Israel, ties to the spy agency of the country, trying to start a genome project and collects gene data of citizens, foreigners, and people in other countries, handled the COVID testing. I'm trying to understand what the biological threat model is, as thankfully we haven't had to face bioweapons as a world, but it makes the potential bioweapons terrifying. It seems like the US doesn't object on those grounds, but on the grounds that the company might share IP with China... which lol

Still kind of funny that even when they do the right thing its for the wrong reasons? Classic US
