@cmgvd3lw Agree, but we also need to answer what is LinkedIn. It is far from just a business social network these days.

#LinkedIn

True.. very true.

Real! Getting reminded to join LinkedIn Premium is honestly one of the reasons that’s so annoying about the platform tbh.

Remember they are all single platforms and fediverse is the interconnected on with many of them so edit it so the big gorrila has mastodon, lemmy, pixelfed, kbin, mbin etc You get the idea . And some small ones like reddit , x etc here and there fediverse wins no diff. They will all die out eventually but not frediverse.

They will all die out eventually but not fediverse

What about instances like queer.af which the literal Taliban took down? I mean I know echos of their content remain, but do their initial posts?

Even my own instance which is amazing in every way possible but has a habit of being unusable for a few days every couple months seems susceptible to quick digital evaporation.

It was this garbage social network that awesome a decade ago. It tripped over itself and the tyrant running the place made decisions including shooting himself in the foot. Very nice guy, if you’re his banker. Anywho I recognize it from the alien in the middle.

Jk idk what that is either.
