I love Community, but just make new things. Sequels or reboots with this amount of distance rarely hit.

Yes, I also think that joke was funny.
But did you consider the movie with the six seasons?
Nine years ago when the show ended, yeah. But time marches on for all of us who aren't Inspector Spacetime and Constable Reggie. In fact, writing a script doesn't even mean it will get optioned or that the actors will be available.
