The thing is, he's a reasonably intelligent guy. He was actually really involved in climate and environmental law back during the 80s-90s, and did some commendable works. Something happened in the 00s and he got hooked into the anti vaccine movement.
I think his problem is something you see often with intellectual people with narcissistic personalities. They're smart, and a good lawyer, so that must mean that they would be good at anything they apply their intellect too.
I keep blaming adderall. So many prominent people are addicted on the stuff and makes them lose their minds.

I had to look this up because it's such a ludicrous statement to make. There is some extra context: he said pampered in regard to foreign aid. But as far as I could tell this is not true. And it's even less true when you consider how much actually gets to them when Israel blocks a lot of aid. It's also just weird because like - I wear glasses and some people don't need to. I don't consider myself pampered because I get to wear glasses. Aid goes to whoever needs it the most, so describing people in need as pampered in general is the most bizarre take to begin with. Pro Israel people have to do some real mental gymnastics. And from my brief googling it sounds like some people thought he did a good job defending Israel! All he did was say 'but Hamas' over and over.
Sorry, but I had to rant.
Was he talking about the Palestinians living in Doha? The billionaires living in 5 star luxury hotels? Or was he talking about the people who the aid was supposed to be for?
Wasn't he spewing Anti Semitic bs the other week? Does he have a problem with everyone from that part of the world? Either way he's a fucking moron.
