Hell, come to think of it. You could convince half of the US to start regularly taking steroids and claim that the "wokes" made it all up to ban it and feminize men.
This basically already exists, it's what modern day dodgy TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) clinics are. Scaremongering about how men's testosterone levels in developed countries are the lowest in history and how this is the cause of all of men's problems, then offer them the cure in TRT. Basically giving these people with no health issues injectable testosterone, which some use as a steroid to get unnaturally high test levels and build muscle with that.
Not only does this hurt the men that fall victim to this, but men that actually have hormonal health issues and need TRT.
I think Genocide Joe introduced the bill that banned anabolic steroids, so that could actually play really well into the culture war.
