When the BV206 is mentioned, I came to think about the fact that Ukraine is going to need more vehicles that can handle snow in good time before the winter arrives. In my experience, nothing beats the BV206 regarding winter mobility (sans snowmobiles, but they can't carry heavy equipment). HMMWV's MRAP's etc. are great for dry or frozen terrain, but quickly become useless if you're moving through muddy fields or deep snow. I hope more countries (esp. maybe the northern ones) can get around to providing some winter mobility in good time.
This is a very positive thing germany can do with their defense force, proud of them. I’d say this helps negate some of the terrible they’ve done historically.
