This is the play. Legalize medically assisted suicide. Use that to paint end of life care as nonessential and voluntary. Use that to shame people whose lives are destroyed by insurance companies and nursing homes as irresponsible and selfish. Use that to deregulate the aforementioned industries.
I think medically assisted suicide is valid, just not when the alternative is destitution

Humane, consented to assisted suicide for medical reasons should be available. Forcing people to suffer at the end of their lives is horrible.
But of course, KKKanada used this to instead just institute eugenics.
