Hello,

Post that are under https://lemmy.ml/c/grapheneos aren't federating to https://beehaw.org/c/grapheneos@lemmy.ml url which finds the community but has no posts.

I'm probably just misunderstanding how federation works, so if someone may please kindly explain to me what may be the issue. I'd appreciate it. Thanks

At least 1 person on your instance needs to subscribe to a remote community for your instance to receive all (future!) posts/comments from that community.

OK. Thank you. I was misunderstanding and thought just opening the URL would fetch and display posts. Good to know

You need to subscribe to !grapheneos@lemmy.ml to let your instance know it exists (you can also just search it but I don't know if that's as good). Then you need to wait for your instance to properly federate
