Nah, you're not doing anything wrong. There's no one way to do femininity or masculinity. Medically transitioning just because people say you should is a recipe for disaster.
I will say, you're stereotyping trans men. I get the point you're trying to get across, but there's a large portion of trans men whose masculinity is very similar to cis men. They're not as visible online and in public discourse because many are stealth. Just keep that in mind.
Regardless, you are welcome in this community. Being non-binary has no set template, and you are just as valid as anyone else. I'm sure you'll find some friends here, and I wish you all the best.

I didn't interpert it as you saying trans men aren't men, just that all trans men ascribe to a certain form of masculinity. There are trans men who are soft twinks and paint their nails, and there are trans men who are bodybuilders and go hunting, and many who are both or neither, just like with cis men. There are trans men who are sweet and kind and there are trans men who are misogynistic assholes (see: Buck Angel).
Also, didn't mean to assume you were non-binary. My bad.
Is the word you're looking for demiboy, femboy, softboy, gender fluid, or something along those lines? There's an LGBTQ wiki that has a list of all those specialty terms, specific identities, and sexualities, which might be helpful. You're also under no obligation to label your gender identity, if that's what you prefer.

First of all, how old are you? Like you don't have to be any form of trans, just be gender nonconforming, genderfluid, a gender, whatever. If you want to explore HRT later that's fine, but doesn't sound like something you want which is valid. Don't feel like you have to be trans.
