It's the dunk tank.

This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

Rule 7: Do not individually target other instances' admins or moderators.

Rule 8: The subject of a post cannot be low hanging fruit, that is comments/posts made by a private person that have low amount of upvotes/likes/views. Comments/Posts made on other instances that are accessible from hexbear are an exception to this. Posts that do not meet this requirement can be posted to !shitreactionariessay@lemmygrad.ml

Rule 9: if you post ironic rage bait im going to make a personal visit to your house to make sure you never make this mistake again

Is there a website or account somewhere that tracks elon musk's current location? I would like to know elon musk's GPS coordinates at all times.

Here you go - the closest thing at least. Here for a direct link.

Edit: the info they publish is legit, though reading about it the author seems like a techbro imbecile; I quote:

The Twitter account, created in June 2020, had been targeted by Musk beginning in 2021. He offered to pay Sweeney $5,000; Sweeney countered requesting $50,000 or an internship in one of Musk's companies

In April 2022, Sweeney stopped tracking Mark Cuban's travel in exchange for his friendship and business advice.

how tight do you think security is at austin bergstrom international airport?

[–] Awoo@hexbear.net 20 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

From a purely theoretical standpoint if I were a journalist seeking a surprise interview I think airports are a no go for theoretical journalists due to private gates and transition from plane to car privately. It's probably much better off working out what destination someone has after the airport and catching them in the transition from car to building at that destination, assuming the destination doesn't have a built-in underground parking garage. That or figuring out what hotel chain someone likes as everyone goes through the lobby at some point or another.

Personally I'm banking on Musk ending up dead in one of his rockets, due to something stupid he'll have insisted on despite the advice of actual engineers. It'd be far funnier.

What's his mothballed brain even trying to say?

[–] Philosoraptor@hexbear.net 30 points 2 years ago

I think he's just throwing red meat to the reactionary fucks who now make up the primary userbase of Twitter. I'm parsing it as something like "lol queer conspiracy?" Just pure weapons-grade brainworms

Some hairbrained ‘centrist’ attempt to equate the two?

[–] Erika3sis@hexbear.net 24 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity; never attribute to stupidity that which can be adequately explained by different lived experiences; and when those lived experiences happen to incentivize malicious acts and behaviors in a global system where the world's greatest fools can simply inherit immense social, political, and economic power from their parents with sometimes a pinch of postnatal dumb luck, then that's a bingo.

Never attribute to anything else that which can be explained by being Dutch

[–] GrouchyGrouse@hexbear.net 11 points 2 years ago

Don't judge a Dutchman until you've walked a mile in his wooden shoes.

Can you imagine what Keter-class cognitohazards reside in his drafts folder

[–] Philosoraptor@hexbear.net 25 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I wouldn't be shocked to find out that it's totally empty, actually, and that he immediately tweets every single thing that flashes into his consciousness.

[–] CascadeOfLight@hexbear.net 10 points 2 years ago

The real purpose of Neuralink: downloading Musk's every thought directly into the brains of his audience as soon as his thinks it

[–] CrispyFern@hexbear.net 18 points 2 years ago

Wow, what a fool. Everyone knows the A stands for allies.

No worries, I already sent a duo of henchmen with heavy Brooklyn accents to choke them out

[–] stigsbandit34z@hexbear.net 13 points 2 years ago

Maybe a hot take, but I don’t doubt for a second that musk is a self-hating autistic person (and I would bet the fucking farm that so many gamers are as well).

Which makes this all the more absurd. Here you are, a very clearly autistic fucking 50 year old apartheid beneficiary shitting on minorities for da memes

I’ve honestly had conversations about this with people in real life. Autism acceptance doesn’t mean autistic people can’t be absolutely awful humans
