One bill would up the age to work at adult entertainment businesses from 18 to 21.

Any time any lawmaker proposes or co-signs onto a bill that punishes sex work or the customers of sex workers, they should be required to show their browser history.

Yikes! I'm not looking at that!

I absolutely will look into it because I want to know exactly what porn they are looking at. I want the press to announce the absolutely most depraved thing in their search history. They're trying to legislate sex work. Let's see what they really think of sex work.

This is a normal thought process. Guns for tots. To take your clothes off, you must be of retirement age.

If your tits don't touch the floor you can't be a whore.

I'm adding that to the list of quotes I want to get embroidered on my throw pillows.

Amesty – who did not respond to requests for comment – said that her vision “for young women of Florida is to not work in any adult entertainment establishments, but rather get an education, a career and (to) excel in life.”

Right up until they get shot by a classmate at least.

for young women of Florida is to not work in any adult entertainment establishments, but rather get an education

And get shot in school, hurray, hurray, the American way.

Out of curiosity: How many mass shootings are happening in strip clubs?

[–] FenrirIII@lemmy.world 9 points 2 years ago

Only in my pants.

this is really going to put a damper on daytona bike week.

no, seriously. the tourist destination spots are going to take a serious hit.

but it's now apparant that the florida legislature is openly stating to all of the evilgelical christians that florida is open for business.

Everyone should have access to guns!

However to make to a living as sex worker, that's bad.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 8 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Hey, you never know when a stripper is going to lose it and kill 10 guys with a ninja throwing pasty.

[–] SinningStromgald@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

If that hasn't happened in a movie yet it most certainly will soon. And i will watch it and I will love it.

[–] badbrainstorm@lemmy.today 3 points 2 years ago

I can see the headline now:

Disgruntled high schooler kills 12 strippers at Florida strip club, per orders from Jesus Christ Almighty

[–] BigMacHole@lemm.ee 1 points 2 years ago

Requiring an Age to buy guns is REGULATION and therefore UNCONSTITUTIONAL and I FULLY expect PRO LIFE REPUBLICANS to Back Me Up on THIS!
