ProtonVPN or Mullvad. ProtonVPN has support for port-forwarding while Mullvad is more privacy respecting (being able to pay with cash/no need to sign up using an email).

I personally use Mullvad currently and it's only $5 a month.

You can buy a voucher on amazon

You can also literally just send them cash in an envelope without your name or address on it and still get a VPN lol.

Can I really pay with cash?

You bet, and please! Stay anonymous all the way. Just put your cash and payment token (randomly generated on our website) in an envelope and send it to us. We accept the following currencies: EUR, USD, GBP, SEK, DKK, NOK, CHF, CAD, AUD, NZD.

There's also a discount for crypto, so you can pay with Monero and save some on that

Wouldn't the postal office throw away mail without a return address?

[–] take_five_seconds@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago

only if it gets sent back

Mullvad

Second to none. Good pricing, and every time they've been raided by the authorities they've never complied or had any personal data released (unlike many many VPNs).

I've used Mullvad for a couple years. Good quality, very rarely I have to turn it off for a specific website.

ProtonVPN.

They do require info to sign up for payment but they don't keep logs so it doesn't matter. All people can figure out is that you pay for a VPN, nothing wrong with that. There's a difference between anonymity and privacy, if you want anonymity then maybe try another but otherwise ProtonVPN is very solid for privacy. You can also use the free version if you prefer or don't have money for a VPN.
