kind of amazing how people are simultaneously against israel doing genocide and pro US doing things that enable israel's genocide. Why are the Houthis suddenly attacking those precious, innocent cargo ships? Idk must be because Iran told them to and no other reason. No critical thinking skills at all.

The Vaushite line on this (I lurk there more than it is healthy) is that the Houthis are just regular ass pirates who are using Israel's genocide as a justification for doing regular piracy and they'll keep doing it even if Israel stops. Why they waited till Israel started doing its genocide to get into the piracy game? Who fucking know?
"No we HAVE to bomb the brown savages. They're all terrorists! We're only protecting our solderinos who were unjustly attacked!"
I understand why we need to retaliate when Houthis attack global shipping and Iranian backed proxies strike our soldiers, but there IS a risk of getting dragged into another war in the Middle East
[Trunp] was the first president of our lifetime to describe the Iraq War as a failure and the first president of my lifetime not to start a new war.
This guy seems to acknowledge that the Iraq war was a mistake, and yet he sees the need to repeat exactly the kind of escalation the lead to it in the first place?
Maybe he just didnt make the connection? I dont get it.
:thonk:

FYI Vaush has said that he would have supported the Iraq war if it was "planned better". Cuz yah know Bush was totally like "I'm just winging this invasion thing" and open with the public about how half assed it was.
ironic posting is still
