The error is: SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'R', "Request er"... is not valid JSON A smaller image, or different format, doesn't make a difference. Not sure what to do. I tried with a 1536x2816 png, 3.93 mb; jpg version, 676 kb; and a 384x704 png version, 477 kb.

We're unsure what the issue is, everyone's been getting it. Please use a third party host like imgbb, we're sorry for the inconvenience :(

I get "timeout" message half of the time when trying to upload an image if this info is helpful in any degree.

Seems like embeds on desktop are so small that they are useless and on mobile version of the post there's no embed at all 🙃
