uses the format of a murder trial to take a snapshot of a relationship and character studies of those involved. Intelligent script, complex characters and plenty of ambiguity. It works extremely well.

English subs for the French parts (and possibly any German parts). A lot of the dialogue is in English but I couldn't say how much percentage wise. If you haven't seen the film then it will make sense why when you do/have.

Yes, and it would make no sense at all for it to be dubbed. That would turn the trial scenes into some kind of weird absurdist comedy.
