From which time period? Some all time classics in the sci-fi genre are:

  • Metropolis by Fritz Lang
  • Welt am Draht by Fassbinder. This one actually has the same concept as the Matrix.
  • Die Abenteuer des Raumschiff Orion. A Star Trek like series with a very creative set (spot the iron)
