i got covid and thought it was allergies. i didn't believe it so i took the test twice...both positive, although i felt fine, just had an itchy nose. my ex boss got covid and was hospitalized and said it felt like an elephant was on his chest. crazy how different the responses can be from person to person.

Could one potentially look if they have the mutation from a 23&me export or something?
If 23&Me checked for the specific marker, then sure. But they focus on family lineage and not exactly unique mutations. Mutations are also rare, you could have it while neither of your parents do as well. So they wouldn't be exactly incentivized to run the test I'd bet. It'd be more logical for a company who assess cancer likelihoods to be willing to run this test though.
