QA in AAA games these days is so bad they forgot to turn off debug mode at launch.

"early access" is the QA. Well, it should be, usually it's just a way for people to make money without actually finishing and updating the game.

It's a live service game anyways, so the base story is probably just a time investment barrier that at best teaches people how to play the game before going out into the real gameplay.
